It's more than a decade since British clothing brand Boden first opened its doors in the USA, and the company has grown from its original system of reps and trunk shows to full-scale sample sales, held several times a year in Philadelphia and Massachusetts.
These sales generally focus on Boden's womenswear and Mini Boden children's ranges (rather than menswear). Unsurprisingly they attract crowds of eager bargain hunters, but if you know what you're looking for and are willing to focus and move fast they can be hugely rewarding!
Boden USA sample sales take place on weekends, for a single day in each location. Entry is free and the doors generally open at 10am. Arrive early, take drinks and snacks and be prepared to queue!
